Leaving an Internal Comment

Leaving internal comments on a reservation is how to communicate with staff, Facilitron support, and any other stakeholders involved with a reservation except for the Renter. Email notifications are generated from comments submitted.

You may choose to make an internal comment notify all regular stakeholders set to receive communications for a particular reservation, or you may pick specific people to notify about a comment (see below).

To leave a comment, start by going to that reservation's detail page. You can either find the reservation on the calendar or search for the reservation by using the reservation ID number:

Once you've found your reservation, click on the Reservation ID to open the Reservation Details Page (seen below).

Scroll to find the Comments/History section. Make your comment in the "Comment Here" box. Below the comment box, check Internal comment.

By selecting the "Internal Comment" checkbox (to the standard distribution), you can make an internal comment that all internal users will see, the renter group will not see, and that all internal users set to receive a comment notification (the standard distribution list) will receive.

Selecting "Select Recipients" on an internal comment allows you to choose which internal users you would like to notify. It does not limit who can see the comment internally on the reservation detail page, but it limits who gets a notification of that particular comment.

All Internal Comments will be marked in red. Comments that are not internal and include renters are marked in green.
