This article assists Order Administrators and Order Processors with understanding the function of the Receive screen.
What Is the Receive Screen?
The receive screen is like M&O's inbox of work orders. All work orders are routed to Maintenance through this portal. You can access the Receive screen at any time from the Receive option on the left hand side of your screen:

Upon opening the receive screen, at the upper right of your screen, you will see a number displayed after Total WO Count:. This is how many work orders have been submitted and are waiting to be reviewed and assigned to staff. The number displayed is subject to any filters you have applied based on purpose, priority, trade and you can “remember filter” for the next time you return to the page.
The Work Order Snapshot section will display all the pertinent information submitted so you can review, receive, and assign this work order to staff. The priority and purpose will already be defaulted per your system settings. Equipment can be updated at this time if applicable.

Receiving a work order is equivalent to assigning the work order to a worker. In the Actions section, open the dropdown menu to select a worker and assign a trade, work category, and contractor if applicable.
You can also schedule the work order for a specific date and time if needed. Reservation work orders will already have this information filled out based on the event date and times.

Upon clicking the Receive button, the work order status updates to Received. All changes to the work order are saved, and email notifications are sent to both the work order creator and the assigned maintenance technician. The creator is notified that Maintenance has taken possession of the work order, while the technician is notified of the assignment. This activity is also recorded in the work order history.
Print Queue - When you receive a work order it populates the print queue. At the bottom of the receive screen, you have the options to Clear Print Queue, Print All on Print Queue and View Print Queue.
